Blazing Editions and Boston Art Inc have teamed up to produce an exquisite installation at a Boston Law Firm. Amounting to a total of thirty panels (all printed on dye sublimated aluminum, 38x80" each), the design incorporates images representing all varieties of people living and working in the Greater Boston Area. Quintessential landmarks, as well as spots often overlooked by tourists in surrounding areas are displayed. Trinity Church, Fields Corner MBTA Platform, the Charles River, Boston Tea Party ships, and The Holocaust Memorial are some examples of the areas included. Various images of roof-top locations such as Piers Park Sailing Center in East Boston are also incorporated.
The overall project sought to tie together the zone's architectural design (a four-story stairwell visible from high-traffic areas throughout the office) with the identity of the company inhabiting the space. After weeks of meticulous measuring, planning, and consulting, the stairwell has been transformed into an epic multi-layered, continuous photographic collage from top to bottom.  With such a large space, maintaining a cohesive artistic design posed a bit of a challenge, especially due to the stairwell's constant visibility from so many key surroundings and levels. However with the combination of skill and hard work from installers, designers, and consultants, the final product is nothing less than stunning.
