Color Management

Preview how your artwork may reproduce on a specific Blazing Editions substrate and finish before production.

Download the appropriate ICC profile, install it on your computer, and use it to soft-proof your image in Adobe Photoshop.

Important: These profiles are intended for soft proofing only. Do not assign or convert your artwork to a Blazing Editions output profile. Submit your file in its original RGB color space with the profile embedded.

How to Install

mac OS

  1. Download the ICC profile.

  2. In Finder, select Go → Go to Folder.

  3. Enter ~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles and press Return.

  4. Copy the downloaded profile into the Profiles folder.

  5. Restart Photoshop.

Windows

  1. Download the ICC profile.

  2. Right-click the profile file.

  3. Select Install Profile.

  4. Restart Photoshop.

Soft-Proof in Photoshop

  1. Open your artwork in Photoshop.

  2. Select View → Proof Setup → Custom.

  3. Under Device to Simulate, select the Blazing Editions profile for your substrate and finish.

  4. Leave Preserve RGB Numbers unchecked.

  5. Compare the Relative Colorimetric and Perceptual rendering intents to determine which best preserves the appearance of your artwork.

  6. Enable Simulate Paper Color when available for a more realistic preview.

  7. Select OK, then use View → Proof Colors to turn the preview on and off.

Color Space

Submit RGB files with the intended color profile embedded. We accept:

  • Display P3

  • Adobe RGB (1998)

  • ProPhoto RGB

  • sRGB

Submit ProPhoto RGB files in 16-bit format. Please do not convert your artwork to a generic CMYK profile—we manage the final color conversion for each printer, substrate, and production process.

For more reliable screen-to-print comparisons, use a calibrated display and review your artwork under consistent lighting. Disable True Tone, Night Shift, HDR, and automatic brightness while making color-critical adjustments.
