The Process
Dye Sublimation on Aluminum infuses dyes into coated aluminum, creating vibrant, durable, gallery-quality images. A dye print on transfer paper is heat-pressed, causing the inks to vaporize and embed in the panel’s polymerized coating for rich color, fine detail, and smooth gradients. The final product is lightweight, rigid, and resistant to moisture, fading, and scratches; the image is integrated into the coating, producing deep blacks, a wide color gamut, and long-lasting quality. Common uses include fine art, signage, photographic displays, and museum installations. Finishes such as matte, satin, or gloss, along with routed edges and floating mounts, offer a clean, contemporary presentation.

White Ink
Equipped with a varnish print head. Create unique spot-coat varnishes or a full overlay to adjust the finish.
Durability
Dye Sublimation allows the inks to sit underneath the surface, which allows for extreme durability. No additional glazing is necessary to hang the artwork.
Substrates
Dye sublimation works on a variety of substrates. We focus on Chromaluxe aluminum only, as it’s the material tested with fine art use in mind.
ACCURACY
Dye sublimation involves many variables for consistency. Time, Temperature, and Pressure. We have dialed in this process for all aluminum sizes to ensure accurate resolution and color for our clients.
