Thoughtful production for important work

Blazing Editions partners with fine art museums, university museums, cultural institutions, curators, exhibition designers, galleries, and artists to produce artwork for temporary exhibitions, traveling shows, and long-term displays.

Museum projects demand close attention to artistic intent, material selection, color accuracy, presentation, and scheduling. Our team provides hands-on consultation throughout the process, translating curatorial and artistic goals into carefully produced, exhibition-ready work.

Production Built Around the Artwork

Every museum project begins with the work itself. We consult with artists, curators, registrars, and exhibition teams to determine the most appropriate printing process, substrate, scale, finish, and presentation.

Our capabilities include archival pigment printing on fine art papers and canvas, dye sublimation on aluminum, and direct UV printing on materials such as acrylic, DiBond, and board. We also provide digital archiving, image preparation, color correction, retouching, proofing, and custom fabrication for projects that require a more specialized approach.

From a single artwork to a complete exhibition, we maintain close control over color, consistency, detail, and finish throughout production.

Framing and Exhibition Presentation

Presentation is considered from the beginning—not added as an afterthought. Our team offers custom framing, mounting, canvas stretching, matting, glazing, hanging hardware, and alternative display systems suited to both traditional and contemporary installations.

We can help evaluate how materials, glazing, lighting, scale, and viewing distance will affect the finished work. Options include UV-filtering and anti-reflective acrylic, custom mounts, float frames, inset backings, standoffs, and other exhibition-specific solutions.

Collaboration at Every Stage

Museum exhibitions often involve coordination among institutions, artists, galleries, designers, fabricators, and installers. Blazing Editions can serve as a central production partner, maintaining clear communication as specifications are developed, proofs are reviewed, and final works are prepared.

We understand that exhibition schedules are fixed and that decisions may involve multiple stakeholders. Our collaborative process keeps the project organized while protecting the artwork's quality and integrity.

Packing & Shipping
Once production is complete, we prepare the work for safe transport with professional packing and custom crating. We also offer shipping coordination and delivery. Keeping printing, finishing, framing, and logistics coordinated through one production partner creates greater consistency and a clearer path from approved file to installed artwork.
