Jonathan is a seasoned portrait photographer with over 15 years experience, based in Scarsdale, New York.
He specializes shooting celebrity, artists, designers, sports heroes, product, interiors and the occasional farmer. Jonathan’s photographs consider, character, mood, composition, color and lighting to bring forth powerful stories to help enhance brands. He is comfortable in the field and in the studio. Experienced in organizing, budgeting, visualizing and executing production shoots and or on the fly shooting has enabled Beckerman to produce classic and memorable photographs.
Beckerman enjoys working with people and has a great passion for sport, health and fitness. He played at the highest level of competition in Division III baseball while earning his B.F.A in Cinema and Photography from the Roy H. Parks School of Communications at Ithaca College.
His studio is based in Scarsdale and he works with clients nationwide.
Jonathan is always taking pictures, he has a camera with him at all times. His current obsession is ethereal music, outer space an ancient earth survival skills.
