Pete Landis is a Woodstock, Vermont-based artist currently exploring popular culture and family history through a mixed-media approach. His work incorporates magazine collages, sculptures, and photography.

His recent work, currently shown at Tappeto Volante Gallery, was cut with a Dremel Multi-Tool and hand-bent to recreate the original magazine page composition that was cut with an Exacto knife.

This new series is an evolution of a project that Landis started in grad school. This series studied the emotional connection between humans and objects (aka heirlooms - or, as Landis calls them, Memoros).
