Benson (born in Scotland, 1929-) has produced monumental photographic images, capturing some of history's most famous individuals and events. His photos of celebrities and notable events have been published in numerous magazines throughout his career, highlighting his immense talent in photojournalism, editorial work, and visual storytelling. Known for his charismatic disposition and humble perspective, Benson captures certain subjects, encouraging viewers to experience the exact moments he documents alongside him. Benson has since published several books and won numerous prominent awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2005 Lucie Award, and the Scottish Press Photography Award, among others.
